캐나다와 미국 중부 밤하늘에서 아래 사진처럼
보기 드문 '오로라 현상'이 포착되었다고 합니다.
NICT 화면에도 자기장이 꼬이는 현상이 잡혔는데,
태양 흑점활동이 강해지고 홍염 분출도 심하다보니
이런 여파가 닥쳐오는 것 같습니다.

The northern lights, also called the “Aurora Borealis”, appeared over the SOUTHEAST United States last night (october 24, 2011 into october 25, 2011).
Below is a screenshot of late on the 24th from the NICT Japanese magnetosphere website — clearly showing the earths magnetic field under pressure (upper right panel) and in flux (upper left panel). link to the NICT website: http://www2.nict.go.jp/y/y223/simula...ime/index.html
